Magpie makes off with famed 45-karat ruby "The Eye of the Phoenix" from an exhibit hosted by Bruce Wayne. Moments after she escapes to the roof, the shadow of a bat pursues. "You won't get my beautiful shiny things!" she shrieks. In a moment he'll be on her. But it doesn't matter. Magpies can fly too.
Redesigned costume for round 2 of the pageant at . The deadline is in two days, but I've been so busy that I never got anything done before Monday. But I've been hauling some serious ass for the past three days and now she's done!
I enjoyed incorporating colours and elements from her original costume into a more modern one. These days you wouldn't see her in wild 80's glasses, but I didn't want to sacrifice how awesome they look, so she still has orange lenses. I traded silver for black to be more stealthy. The fishnets remain, but are modified to work for this design. Her orange gloves and shoes were simply lengthened, and I added the ribbons for a frilly touch, since she clearly doesn't go strictly functional. I simply can't condone her ridiculous trihawk so I combed it down to long, sleek tresses, like a magpie's feathers. Tada!
